Dear SpeakAsians,
The year of 2013 has been a watershed in the history of SpeakAsia. The company fought with vigor against all odds to come out clean and ensure justice for all our vendors , employees and consumers.
It was in mid December, 2013 we saw a few conclusive actions such as filing of provisional charge-sheet by EOW , Mumbai. This charge-sheet is being carefully examined by our legal team who will suitably respond at the appropriate time . However, we remain confident that we will absolve ourselves of all the alleged charges framed against us.
We move on and welcome the year of 2014 with great expectations and hope . We at SpeakAsia , are confident that soon we will be able to put all our troubles behind and move forward to great glory and prosperity for all.
We appreciate and thank all SpeakAsians for their support and encouragement . Together we can and we will make the year of 2014 full of joy and happiness for all of us.

It has been brought to our notice that certain unscrupulous people have been misleading the SpeakAsia family members by offering them a new business proposition called as Qbule.com, claiming that its connected with Speak Asia.
We would like to categorically state that this is completely false. Neither the management of SpeakAsia nor any of its promoters are related to them in any manner whatsoever.
We would also like to state that SpeakAsia management, or any of its promoters or their relatives are not involved in any other business in India which is posing as a venture of SAOL.
We caution all the members of Speakasia family to verify the details of any new offering on their own, clearly understanding that SAOL obviously will not bear any responsibility in any manner whatsoever.

Dear SpeakAsians,
In our ongoing effort to execute the Exit policy announced by the company earlier, we had sent out two test batches of payments to a few randomly selected panelists. While the first test batch experienced some glitches, the second test batch was executed with relatively lesser number of obstacles. This has given us the courage to undertake the payment to all the applicants of the exit policy of the company.

As the company servers and database are still in the possession EOW, Mumbai, the company has decided to approach the Honourable Mumbai High court and to this end the company has filed a WRIT in the Mumbai high court with reference number WP/1127/2013 with the hearing dated expected on April 5, 2013. The company via this WRIT is requesting the Honourable court to direct the Mumbai EOW to hand over the database of the panelist so that we can execute the exit option at the earliest.

Dear Panelist,
Further to our last update on the execution of the exit policy. we wish to inform our SpeakAsia community that we have finished analysing the results of the first test batch of payouts that were sent.
We have identified certain roadblocks such as multiple claimants to the same panelist id or bank details not matching with the ones submitted at the time of applying for the exit policy, because of which not everyone got the remittance in their accounts.
We are at this moment addressing those issues and hope to have a resolution to them by the end of this month. Once we have the resolutions in place we will then send out a second batch of test payouts. On successful completion of this second batch we will commence the payout as per the exit policy.

Dear SpeakAsians,
On the payout front, the company had sent out the first set of test remittances to the bank accounts of some of the panelists. The company at the moment is collating the data as to who all have received it and for those who didn't get it, the company is identifying the cause and finding remedial solutions for it. Once this exercise is complete the company will then start the payout process in full swing.

Processing of the Exit Option

Dear SpeakAsians,
As per the recent Order passed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court, the mediation proceedings have come to an end. However, SpeakAsia continues to stand by its commitment for releasing the payment to its panelists. It is therefore putting in motion the execution of its exit policy and as an initial step, SpeakAsia will be executing the payouts for a test batch of panelists.
We thank you for the patience shown till date and request you to kindly bear with us as we execute this new effort of ours.

Dear SpeakAsians,
In furtherance to our earlier communication and also to bring more clarity to the subject please find below the course of action as being decided by the company:-
1) Whilst waiting for the Order passed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court to be made available to us, we would like to repeat and reiterate that payments to panelists opting out under the EXIT option remain the utmost priority for the Company.
2) At this stage, particularly since mediation process could not be completed, the Company would now take necessary legal steps to remit the payments to the panelists directly.

3) The Company is also in the process of approaching concerned Government authorities for seeking possession of the Panelist database in order to authenticate the information.
4) The Company would also approach the banks and RBI for the purpose of remittance of payments. An ascertainment date about disbursement will be provided once above formalities are done with.
5) In the meantime, the Company would also await Speaking Order from RBI which has to be passed by RBI by September 27, 2012 as per the Order of Bombay High Court and take appropriate steps as per the same.
